Learn the Russian alphabet by playing

Thirty-three letters. About a third of them you already know, a third are new, and a third are traps — and the traps are where everyone stalls.

The false friends

В is v. Н is n. Р is r. С is s. У is u. Х is kh. Every one of them looks like a Latin letter with a different sound, and under time pressure your eye takes the Latin reading. That is exactly the kind of mistake the arcade records: it watches which letter you type instead, builds the list of pairs you confuse, and drills those specifically.

Capitals and lowercase together

Russian lowercase is not always a small capital — т becomes m-shaped in handwriting, д looks nothing like Д. The Study Room shows both forms for every letter.
