Explosive Ink

In the spirit of the classic bomb-laying maze game.

Step through a maze of paper walls by typing, and set down pots of Yai’s ink. Each bursts in a splash that tears through paper and sends the cats scurrying — so stand clear.

How it plays

Type the character on the tile next to you to step onto it. The character on your own tile sets down a pot of ink, which bursts in a cross a moment later — tearing through paper walls, but not stone. Clear enough paper walls, or catch every cat, and the level is done.

Why it helps you read

Nothing falls and nothing chases you until you choose, so it rewards careful reading: plan a few steps, read each character, then move.
