Deep Dig

In the spirit of the classic underground tunnelling game.

Dig through the earth by typing the cell to tunnel into. Line up with one of Mr. Pesar’s cats and ink it with the brush until it floats away in a bubble — or drop a rock on it.

How it plays

The cells around you each show a character; type one and you dig into it. Mr. Pesar’s cats follow you through your own tunnels. When one lines up with you, keep typing its character to fill its ink bubble until it floats away — or dig out from under a rock and let it fall.

Why it helps you read

Nothing forces a keystroke until a cat comes close, so it is the game to play with a script you are still learning: time to think, then a reason to be quick.
