Learn French by playing
You already know the alphabet. What you do not know yet is how to type é without hunting, and which words need è rather than é. That is what these games drill.
Play in FrenchAccents are not decoration
They change the word. ou is or, où is where. a is has, à is to. Getting them right is not politeness, it is spelling, and the games mark you on it — the hint under each word tells you the meaning, and you type the word back with every accent in place.
Words, not letters
The first tier is the characters English lacks: é è ê ë à â ç ù û î ï ô œ and the French quotation marks. After that it is whole words, then the phrases you would actually say — bonjour, s’il vous plaît, combien ça coûte.
