The same sets as the Study Room

Japanese cards follow the JLPT levels, N5 to N1, with every hiragana and katakana at N5. Chinese cards follow HSK 3.0, from HSK 1 to HSK 7–9. Thai, Vietnamese and English follow the order the games teach them. Every card has a speaker button, and flipping a card plays its sound.

Words and sentences

The beginner sets carry a hand-written example on the back: Thai consonants use the word in the letter's own name — ก is ko kai, so the example is ไก่, chicken, in a sentence about a rooster. Hiragana, the N5 kanji, the Vietnamese letters and the English alphabet each come with a word and a simple sentence. Every Chinese character comes with a word from the HSK vocabulary that uses it, with pinyin and a meaning.

Again, or got it

Mark a card Got it and it leaves the pile; mark it Again and it comes back a few cards later, so the ones you miss keep returning until they stick. On a keyboard, Space flips the card, the arrow keys move, and A and G grade it.
